We’re excited to tell you that Dylan LeBlanc will release his second album ‘Cast The Same Old Shadow’ on 20th/21st August 2012, the follow-up to his 2010 debut ‘Pauper’s Field’.

Dylan describes what the song is about: “I had a crazy dream and this was the theme music to it. In my dream I was walking through the forest, and there was a battle going on and everyone was shooting each other and then people were hanging out and smoking cigarettes with their rifles and I remember there was a beautiful woman in the dream with long black hair. She was like a painting, and every time she turned the corner, the rest of the world would also become a painting. Every time I wanted to go closer, she would round the next corner. I woke up and I said “I have to write that song”. Dylan LeBlanc will be releasing his second album – the follow-up to Pauper’s Field (2010) – this Spring, details of which we will be sharing with you very soon!
In the meantime, to remind you of what a special talent Dylan is, we wanted to share with you a performance he did for Sun Studio Sessions. The legendary Memphis Sun Studio, famous for housing recordings by the likes of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, BB King and Roy Orbison in the 1950s, invited Dylan to play for a small audience as part of a series which has recently featured performances from Justin Townes Earle, Grace Potter, The Walkmen, Jakob Dylan.
