Dylan LeBlanc Sun Studios Sessions 1 March 2012 in Dylan LeBlanc

Dylan LeBlanc will be releasing his second album – the follow-up to Pauper’s Field (2010) – this Spring, details of which we will be sharing with you very soon!

In the meantime, to remind you of what a special talent Dylan is, we wanted to share with you a performance he did for Sun Studio Sessions. The legendary Memphis Sun Studio, famous for housing recordings by the likes of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, BB King and Roy Orbison in the 1950s, invited Dylan to play for a small audience as part of a series which has recently featured performances from Justin Townes Earle, Grace Potter, The Walkmen, Jakob Dylan.

Check out Dylan performing a soulful re-working of “Emma Hartley” from his debut album Pauper’s Field from the session:

On Dylan LeBlanc’s debut album, Paupers Field, a lost world is brought to life – both in the carefully sculpted songs and rich well of country soul from which those songs emerge.
