        Mica Levi of Micachu and The Shapes has been busy hiding in the studio readying her second album but she took the time out to recently collaborate with the London Sinfionetta for a live concert. The collaboration was documented for Channel 4 and is now showing exclusively on Pitchfork:

        Listen: Elizabeth Fraser releases 'Moses' - her first single in a decade 27/11/09 in news

        Today sees the release of ‘Moses‘, Elizabeth Fraser‘s enchanting tribute to her late friend Jake Drake-Brockman. Jake was the keyboardist of Echo and The Bunnymen and tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident earlier this year. Moses is available as a limited 12” and download, backed with two remixes on the b-side. The Guardian Film & Music recently conducted Elizabeth’s first interview since the Nineties and are currently streaming Moses on their website. Long time Cocteau Twins supporters Radcliffe and Maconie have selected the track for their ‘Pick N Mix’ competition next week on their BBC 2 radio show, voting commences on Monday.
