Warpaint 'Rough Trade Sessions' EP Out Now 6 December 2011 in Warpaint

After the success of their Rough Trade Session earlier this year (a performance filmed and directed by Beggars’ Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth in an east London studio), Warpaint have released a ‘Rough Trade Sessions’ EP exclusively on iTunes of the live audio recordings.

It is available to buy here in the UK and here in the US

The songs are taken from the band’s 2010 album ‘The Fool’ and 2009 EP ‘Exquisite Corpse’. The group’s performance of ‘Warpaint’ was not released with the initial session videos, so is exclusive to this EP.

Warpaint Shortlisted In 2011 AIM Awards 13 October 2011 in Warpaint

Thanks to all your votes, Warpaint have been shortlisted for Best Live Act in the inaugural AIM awards! They’re up against Enter Shikari, Bring Me The Horizon and Frank Turner. The winners will be announced on 10th November at a ceremony hosted by Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens. Check out the full list of nominees HERE, and please keep your fingers crossed for the girls!

Biography

Warpaint weave intricate guitar lines, hypnotic vocals and driving post punk rhythms into gorgeous, sprawling songs that skirt the line between psychedelia and intimacy. Both live and on record, Warpaint sound like they’re channeling something truly otherworldly, and mystical. Rough Trade released their long-awaited debut full-length album. The Fool in October.
